Kleist-Archiv Sembder

Heilbronn / Kathy of Heilbronn / Kleist-Archiv Sembder

Kleist-Archiv Sembder

The Sembdner Kleist Archive, an international institution dedicated to the life and work of poet Heinrich von Kleist, has dealt with various facets of Kleist’s great historic knight play since its inception. Displaying a particular interest for the history of Kathy-related folk tradition passed down in Heilbronn itself, the range of the archive’s activities spans everything from scientific papers to postcards, from exhibitions to lectures, publications in books and magazines, movie screenings, and its own research into local history. Everyone interested in Kathy may turn to the web site run by the Sembdner Kleist Archive,
www.das-käthchen-von-heilbronn.de, where a comprehensive German language Kathy database is available.
